At Laura Templeton Cake Design we sculpt, carve and create bespoke cakes for special occasions. Each cake is unique to every customer. Cakes are made on order only, using the freshest and best quality ingredients available.

With many years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries, Laura has taken care to design mouth-watering recipes, which form the basis from which her creativity begins. Painstaking detail and care are put into every cake to ensure that each one is a masterpiece, an edible work of art.

After returning to South Africa in 2010, from Dubai, Laura started her fondant adventures (with one cupcake pan she stole from her mother!!) making cupcakes for family and friends. The business, then Pink Berry Cupcakes, quickly grew into a cake business known for quality, reliability and cakes that taste as good as they look. Laura has been delighting brides, politicians, celebrities, moms, dads, husbands, wives and children with her creations since 2011 and in 2015 put her name on her business - Laura Templeton Cake Design (Pty) Ltd - to make it official that she is here to stay.

All aspects of the business are overseen by Laura and for this reason only a select number of cakes are taken on each month. This ensures that each cake can pass Laura's high standards and OCD tendencies.

Packaging & Delivery:

Where possible cakes are packaged in a cake box. Cupcakes are packaged in cupcake boxes (12 per box). Individual cupcake packaging can be arranged. For an additional fee, delivery can be arranged within the greater Gauteng area.
 

Ordering:

Only a limited amount of orders can be taken on each week. To avoid disappointment, please place your order as soon as you've set your function date. For wedding cake orders please make your booking at least 3 months in advance.
 

Minimum Orders:

Cupcakes - Minimum order of 12 per flavour. Decor and colours may vary per cupcake.
 

Shapes & Sizes:

Cake sizes start from 5cm up to 50cm. Single tier up to 7 tiers. Shapes include round, square, rectangular, heart-shaped and sculpted cakes.
 

Pricing:

Each order is quoted individually based on flavour, size and decor style. Cupcakes start from R8.50 each, Cookies from R5.00 each and cakes from as little as R350.00 each. Please contact me with your ideas and requests for a formal quotation.
 

Collection Times:

Mondays: Not available
Tuesdays – Fridays: 09:00 – 10:00 or 16:30 – 18:00
Saturdays: 09:00 – 09:30
Sundays: Not available
 
Note: The best way to transport cakes is in the boot on a non-slip mat or on a passenger’s lap
 

Terms & Conditions:

Quotes are valid for 30 days from date sent
Cakes are supplied on cake boards, packaged in a cake box where possible
Birthday candles, cake stands and cupcake stands are NOT supplied
For collections, I cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage to cakes once they have left my possession.
Spaces are not held for unconfirmed orders and work is done strictly on a first come, first serve basis. 
Orders are confirmed only once the deposit has been paid.
A 50% deposit is payable on booking and the balance is due 2 weeks prior to delivery/collection date.
Work cannot begin on your order until full payment has been received.
Deposits are refundable providing written notice is given no later than 4 weeks prior to delivery/collection date.
